Frequently Asked Questions
How to use a DynaVap heating device?
DynaVap vaporizers are one of the most unique vaporizers on the market, offering users a new concept of aromatherapy and vaping. To use a DynaVap, start by filling the Tip with your desired aromatherapy herb or concentrate then put the Cap back on. Using a heat source preferably a torch lighter, heat the Tip until you hear a click from the DynaVap Cap. This click indicates that the device has reached the optimal temperature for vaporization. From there, simply inhale and enjoy your DynaVap experience! For those looking for a more discreet option, the DynaVap M is a great choice. This portable and affordable model is perfect for users on-the-go, and is popular in countries like Malaysia, Thailand and India.
How to heat a DynaVap?
Heating a DynaVap is most commonly done with a torch lighter, which allows for quick and easy heating. Hold the flame near the Tip of the DynaVap and rotate it slowly until you hear the click. For a more fuss-free heating experience, an induction heater is an excellent option. These devices use electromagnetic waves to heat the Tip without the need for a flame. Some popular options include the iSpire Wand with the DynaVap Adapter kit attachment. You could also use a regular lighter, but the lower temperatures are more prone to cause scorch marks on your Cap.
How to clean a DynaVap?
Keeping your DynaVap clean is crucial for optimal performance and flavor. To clean it, disassemble your DynaVap and brush off any residue or debris. Then soak the parts in warm, soapy water for several hours. Rinse and dry before use. For those who prefer professional cleaning, the DynaKit maintenance pack is a popular option in Asia and includes a variety of tools like pipe cleaners, o-rings, and replacement screens. Check out our DynaVap Maintenance Guide for more in-depth cleaning instructions.
How to pack a DynaVap?
Packing your DynaVap’s Tip or ‘oven’ as we like to call it is an important step in ensuring optimal vaporization and flavor. DynaVap recommends medium ground consistency for aromatherapy herbs like Lavender, Thyme, Hops and Peppermint. Use your fingers or a small tool to fill the Tip with your desired amount. Pack the herb down loosely as this works best for the hybrid convection/conduction heating in DynaVap vaporizers.
How to use a DynaVap without a torch lighter?
One option is to use an induction heater, which heats the Tip using electromagnetic waves instead of a flame. Another option is to use a candle or lighter to heat the Tip. You would have to wait much longer for the click, and your DynaVap is more prone to cosmetic damage due to the low temps.
How to make an induction heater for DynaVap?
Building your own induction heater for DynaVap is a cost-effective way to personalize your vaping experience. Numerous DIY induction heater tutorials like the "Mag Heater" and "Penny Stove Induction Heater" are available online, making it easy to create your own induction heater. Reddit DynaVap communities are also always active with DIY heater builds. DynaVap users from Malaysia, India, Vietnam and Thailand regularly share Tips and tricks on the DynaVap subreddits.
How to upgrade your DynaVap vaporizer?
Upgrading your DynaVap can be a great way to enhance your vaping experience and get the most out of your device. Some popular upgrades include replacing the standard Tip with a Titanium Tip, upgrading to the XL condenser kit, or even simply using the Fat Mouthpiece. The Low Temp Captive Cap is especially popular in India and Thailand, and we expect the Armored Cap to do the same! Of course moving from the DynaVap M to the DynaVap Omni is the ultimate upgrade.
How to replace DynaVap CCDs or screens?
DynaVap make their own screens called CCDs which are included with your device or in the DynaKits. Replacing the screen in your DynaVap vaporizer is a simple process that can improve airflow and enhance vapor production. Disassemble your device to the basic components: Tip, Cap, Stem, Condenser. Push the DynaVap Condenser through the Tip, poking the CCD from below. Drop in a new or cleaned CCD into the Tip and use the condenser push it into position.
What is the DynaVap Adjust-A-Bowl feature?
DynaVap's adjust-a-bowl feature lets users adjust bowl size by moving the screen up or down with the condenser. Two notches in the Tip enable 100% or 50% bowl size. For example, to switch from the 100% to 50% size, simply push the screen up gently to the higher notch. To switch back, push the screen down to the lower notch. It's a simple and effective way to customize your DynaVap experience.
How to troubleshoot DynaVap?
If you're experiencing issues with your DynaVap vaporizer, there are several simple troubleshooting steps you can take. First, make sure the device is properly heated by listening for the "click" sound that indicates the optimal temperature has been reached. If the device is not heating properly, make sure the Tip is clean and free from debris. If you're experiencing issues with vapor production, try adjusting your packing technique or upgrading the Tip or screen. If you’re still stuck, get in touch with us.
